Schools

To all Teachers,

Students' day is Friday September 18, 2009. The moment students arrive on-site, they will be invited to join us in recreating a bygone century on the streets of Duck Lake. The skits will take place in front of local shops, the historical murals scattered around Duck Lake and historical land marks of the town, such as the former Victoria school (now the local library). A parking lot will be available for buses. Students must bring their lunch.

La Société historique has once again created a teaching guide to use with students in preparation. The guide includes information about the various themes presented during the event. The guide is only available in French.

NOTE TO ALL IMMERSION SCHOOLS:
Schools can be reimbursed half the expenses of admission and transportation, up to a total of $250.00, by applying to le Conseil culturel fransaskois' Ateliers culturels et artistiques scolaires.

Please fill out the registration form for Journées du patrimoine/Heritage Days 2009 and send it back before September 10.
